1. Acceptation of conditions

By using the services of Y CLEAN INC. (hereinafter "Y CLEAN") or by accessing our website (yclean.ca), you agree to be bound by these general terms and conditions of use. If you do not accept these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Description of services

Y CLEAN offers professional residential and commercial cleaning services in the Greater Montreal area, including Montreal, Laval, Longueuil, Brossard, Terrebonne, Repentigny, Blainville and the West Island. Our services include regular cleaning, deep cleaning, post-move cleaning, post-renovation cleaning, commercial cleaning and janitorial services.

3. Bookings and Appointments

• Bookings can be made online, by phone or via WhatsApp.
• Every booking is considered a request until confirmed by Y CLEAN.
• Schedules are agreed upon between the client and Y CLEAN at the time of confirmation.
• We strive to be punctual; however, slight delays may occur due to unforeseen circumstances.

4. Tarification and paiement

• Rates are provided at the time of the free quote and are subject to change.
• The prices shown do not include applicable taxes (GST/QST), unless otherwise stated.
• Payment is due at the end of each service, unless otherwise agreed.
• We accept payments by Interac e-transfer, credit card and cash.
• In the event of non-payment, Y CLEAN reserves the right to suspend services.

5. Annulation and report

• Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the appointment are free of charge.
• Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment may incur cancellation fees equal to 50% of the scheduled amount.
• If the client is absent at the time of the agreed appointment without notice, the full scheduled amount may be charged.
• Rescheduling an appointment is possible with at least 24 hours' notice.

6. Acces in lieux

The client must provide safe and reasonable access to the premises to be cleaned. The client is responsible for securing valuables, important documents and fragile items before the cleaning team arrives. Y CLEAN cannot be held responsible for damage to unsecured items or to items left in areas of intensive cleaning.

7. Satisfaction and reclamations

• Your satisfaction is our priority. If you are not satisfied with the service, please contact us within 24 hours of the service.
• We offer a free touch-up service to correct any issue reported within this timeframe.
• Claims must be accompanied by photos or detailed descriptions of the problem.

8. Responsabilite

Y CLEAN carries civil liability insurance. In the event of damage caused by our team during the service, we undertake to repair or replace the damaged property, up to its market value. Any claim must be reported within 24 hours of the incident. Y CLEAN's liability is limited to the amount of the service rendered.

9. Produits and equipment

Y CLEAN uses eco-friendly products and professional equipment. If the client wishes us to use specific products, they must request this at the time of booking and provide the said products. Y CLEAN cannot be held responsible for damage caused by products provided by the client.

10. Animaux domestiques

The client must inform Y CLEAN of the presence of pets on the premises. Pets must be kept secure in a safe place during the service. Y CLEAN cannot be held responsible for incidents involving pets.

12. Loyalty card and carte cadeau

• The loyalty card lets you get a free cleaning after 10 completed cleanings.
• Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
• Y CLEAN reserves the right to modify the terms of these programs with reasonable notice.

13. Electronic Contracts and Signatures

By subscribing to a recurring plan with a discount, the client agrees to sign an electronic contract via our website. This contract includes:

• An electronic signature captured via a digital canvas
• Specific conditions for the chosen plan (minimum number of services, notice period, penalties for early cancellation)
• The client's commitment to maintain the chosen frequency to benefit from the applied discount

The electronic signature has the same legal value as a handwritten signature under Quebec's Act to establish a legal framework for information technology (LCCJTI). The client receives a copy of the signed contract by email. In case of cancellation before the contract term, services already performed will be billed at the regular rate (without discount).

14. Electronic Communications

By using our services, you agree to receive electronic communications (emails and SMS) regarding your bookings, contracts, and service notifications. These communications are sent via Brevo (formerly Sendinblue), a GDPR-compliant platform. Only your name and email address are transmitted to Brevo for message delivery. You can unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time by contacting us at info@yclean.ca.

15. Modifications of Conditions

Y CLEAN reserves the right to modify these conditions at any time. Changes will take effect upon publication on the website. Continued use of our services after publication of changes constitutes acceptance thereof.

16. Applicable Law

These conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any dispute shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Province of Quebec, District of Montreal.
